Chip Clips Dominate Debates

Dopeycrat candidate out of touch?

Chip clips dominate, Augie barely in pictureOctober 18, 2000 -- Dopeycrat Presidential Candidate Augie NotAFoster was at the final Presidential Debate last night but received no air time at all.  Governor George W. Bush and Vice President Al Gore each showed up for the debate sporting a huge chartreuse chip clip, while the Dopeycrat dismissed the fad and chose to wear a more traditional tophat instead.

The two chip clip candidates completely dominated the debate and Augie was ignored the entire evening.   Focus groups polled afterwards were oblivious to his presence and the attendees in St Louis stated that they never even saw him on the stage.

Augie had previously stated in a press release that he didn't understand the nation's fascination with the chip clip gimmick.  Last night's events lead one to wonder, after his extended absence from the political scene, has Augie NotAFoster lost touch with the voters?
