Bush Shuns Dopeycrat Debate
Is the GOP afraid to debate da Moose?
| September 11, 2000 -- Just one day after Dopeycrats
announced their intention to debate Governor Bush, Newswoof has learned that the GOP
candidate has cancelled his plans to participate in the "Meet the Press" debate
on Tuesday. Dopeycrat party leaders are gloating. Spokesbasset Myrtle Gilbert says that this demonstrates that the GOP candidate is afraid to debate their VP candidate da Moose, considered by some to be the weaker half of the ticket. Other pawlitical observers believe that Governor Bush has never even heard of the Dopeycrats. The Bush campaign could not be reached for comment.
